( “ Global Energy Metals ” , the “ Company ” and/or "GEMC") wishes to announce that further to its news release dated August 3 rd, 2016, the consolidation of its share capital on the basis of one post-consolidation common share for every fifteen pre-consolidation common shares will be effective as of today, August 25th, 2016. GEMC currently has 79,322,177 common shares issued and outstanding and will have 5,288,145 common shares issued and outstanding upon completion of the consolidation.
The Company’s transfer agent will be mailing to registered shareholders a Letter of Transmittal for shareholders to use to exchange existing share certificates for share certificates representing shares on a consolidated basis. No action is required to effect consolidation of beneficially held securities by non-registered shareholders, who hold securities of the Company through an intermediary or broker.
